JobJohnny Privacy Policy

Your project data

JobJohnny stores projects, customer and contractor details, estimates, employee information, work hours, imported documents, and preferences on your Android device. PDF text recognition and estimate calculations run on the device. The subscription verification service does not receive these documents or project records. Exports and support emails are sent only when you choose to share them.

Google Play subscriptions

Google Play processes payments. JobJohnny does not receive your payment-card details. To verify access, the app sends its Google Play purchase token, a random app-installation identifier, and a one-time request identifier to our verification server over HTTPS. The server checks purchase, plan, renewal, and expiration information with Google and returns a signed access confirmation. Purchase tokens are encrypted in the server database. Installation identifiers are used to bind the response to your app installation and are not stored in the subscription database.

Our server receives the connection IP address. It uses a rate-limit counter for abuse prevention. Hosting infrastructure may retain limited security/access logs for up to 30 days; purchase-token request bodies are excluded from those logs. We use this information for subscription delivery, fraud prevention, and service reliability, not advertising.

Optional device permissions and services

With permission, Calendar access displays events from calendars available on your device. Location helps suggest nearby addresses when you use address lookup; Android's geocoding provider may process your address query and location. You can deny or revoke these permissions in Android settings. Notifications provide project reminders. Android's document picker lets you select files to import or locations for exports. Optional text-to-speech may use the speech engine you selected on your device, including its network service when applicable.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Google, Cloudflare (our subscription-service host), our other hosting provider, and device services process data as needed to provide the features described above. Records for active subscriptions remain while needed to verify access. Expired, superseded, or canceled pending-purchase verification records are removed from the active database after 90 days. Backups of that database expire within a further 30 days. Google keeps its own transaction records under its policies and applicable law.

Your choices and deletion

You can export saved data even without an active subscription. Delete projects in JobJohnny or clear app storage in Android settings to remove local data. Uninstalling removes app-private data; copies you exported remain wherever you saved them. JobJohnny disables automatic Android app-data backup; keep your own secure exports. Deleting the app does not cancel your Google Play subscription.

JobJohnny does not create a separate customer login account. Restore purchases with the same Google Play account. For a privacy or server-data deletion request, contact help@karlovicsystems.com; provide your Google Play order reference if relevant, never your purchase token or payment-card details. We may need to verify the request and explain any records retained for active service or legal obligations.
